digiKam question

Wed Feb 27, 2013 3:19 pm
Hello

I have started digiKam by uploading my grafics dedicated partition. so, I have two albums: /home/bilder and /grafik.
Now, I would like to add a few more directories, containig picture files in other partitions. Every time I try to open such an new album it is installed in /grafik, but I want it on the same level as /bilder and /grafik.

How do I do that? I am trying it our now for about an hour and find no way at all.

Second question: I get a message that I could not add Tags to the Tag list, the data base could not be bothered to work.

Can anybody help me? That would be great.

Hi. I'm a beginner myself but I think you have to make a new collection. Settings>configure digikam>Collection>add collection.

Thanks a lot. This feature is truly well hidden.
