Hi. Suddenly I can not use the function "download new" when importing. Neither can I "select new". "download selected" works OK.
digiKam Version 3.0.0 Using KDE Development Platform 4.8.5 (4.8.5) By the way, is there a dedicated digikam forum? That mailing list seems really awkward. |

To the best of my knowledge, the Digikam developers do not have a dedicated forum. They are welcome of course to contact the forum staff and we can set one up (they'll need to offer help in answering user queries, as we find answers from those familiar with software - especially the developers - tend to be the most accurate).
Can you provide a screenshot of the place where "Download new" is no longer working? I am guessing that this is the dialog which allows you to interact with cameras and other similar devices.

I have the same problem since upgrading from 2.8. Very annoying.
You can reinstall 2.8 and dump 3.0 or 3.1. Then it will be working again. I could not find an existing bug report. The bug tracking is not clear. I hope someone fixes this. |

OK. I cannot downgrade. I think then I will get the bug with no thumbnails for video files or something. I'd rather have this bug...
Here's a screenshot I guess it doesn't help much. I click "download new" and nothing happens. No error message. As you can see digikam has "checked" the first four images so it knows they are already imported, but it still wont import any images. |
