Moving Digikam to a new computer.

Sun Apr 26, 2015 8:40 pm
I have digikam installed on an older computer and have copied over the images and the digicam folder in my documents folder (both computers are running windows). When I opened digikam on the new computer, I noticed that some groupings and color labels are missing. Could someone direct me as to where this information is stored so I can copy it to the new computer? Thanks in advance for your help!

Bumping this again. This information may be somewhere that I'm not looking but would really appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance :)

be forewarned I don't use Digikam

the easiest thing to do is to copy your ~/ to the new computer

I assume the "digikam folder" you refer to is where the sqlite db is stored - correct?

afaik the devs don't visit here often but use mailing lists to support users - see their web site
