Import of JPG hierarchical tags

Sat Jun 13, 2015 2:15 pm
I have a jpg, produced using darktable with the following exif informatie:
Code: Select all
$ exiftool DSC01655_dt.jpg | grep -i subject
Subject              : amersfoort, buildings, hotel, netherlands
Hierarchical Subject : buildings|netherlands|amersfoort|hotel

When I look at the tag hierarchy in digikam, all the tags in the hierarchy are selected (4 selections). I would like that only the bottom tag in the hierarchy (hotel) is selected. Is there an option to achieve that?
Some background: I tagged the RAW image from the camera in digikam, then the tags are exported in an xmp file. Darktable reads the xmp and RAW files and creates the jpg file.
