I am using open suse leap 42.1 (KDE) as a real newbie of both Linux and digikam.

All pictures have geotags and they are shown by digikam among the EXIF-data.
But digikam does not show the positions in the maps - except the positions of
those pictures shot with a smartphone (Android LG 4).
Digicam treats all others as pictures without geotags. They got their position data by "Geosetter" or "Lightroom".
Other applications e.g. "XNVIEWMP" always show positions in a map.
Kipi-plugins are all activated- I checked this of course first.
Who can explain that to me?
