New here, Ken Parkes using GNU Linux since Suse 6.4.
Not sure I'm in the right place - the website is the most convoluted I've experienced. If inappropriate please point me in the right direction. I have run through three compacts and am on my second digital SLR and have a lot of photographs from my wife and friends. The result is a mess on two hard-drives. Running Digikam fuzzy for four hours has thrown up a huge number of duplicate, triplicate and quadruplicate files. Is there a way of removing all but the reference image in one easy step? I've started removing them file number by etc. but it will take me forever. A shell script would be welcome. TIA Ken |
