Hey out there!

I'm on a fresh Mint 19 Tara and try to compile my own digikam 6.0beta just downloaded from git.
But I'm stuck with exiv2:

libexiv2 is needed. You need to install the libexiv2 (version >= 0.26 development package.

So I cloned exiv2 from git too:

$ git clone https://github.com/Exiv2/exiv2.git exiv2

and compiled it. Now I have

$ exiv2 -V
exiv2 0.27.0.0 (64 bit build)

But digikam's cmake still can't find a valid libexiv2 development package.
Apt-get is no option:

$ apt list|grep libexiv2-dev
libexiv2-dev/bionic-updates,bionic-security,now 0.25-3.1ubuntu0.18.04.1 amd64

Can I build and install the dev package from exiv2 source? How? Or is there a package for it to download?
