The past few years I have been using Media Pro SE and I have been looking to transfer to a new similar app.

I tried many apps but I think Digikam is the only one that fits my needs.

After playing around with digikam I have come across two issues and have one request (not sure if it already exists).

Issues:
1. When adding a new folder with lots of images or refreshing the app, digikam CPU usage explodes
2. Whenever quitting the app I always get the error message that digikam quit unexpectedly

Request:
Media Pro SE uses "Catalog Sets" which is pretty much the same as "Tags" in digikam...
When I exported images/folders I was using in Media Pro to digikam I noticed that out of 10000 images 1000 it did not recognize the catalog sets (tags).
And from those it recognized, the catalog sets (tags), not all were correct. Somehow it seems those catalog sets (tags) were older.

Anyway, my question is, is it somehow possible to have all those "catalog sets" (tags) correctly transfered into digikam? Are there any scripts...?
