I am a complete newby and have the following question. Whilst I was doing a backup with syncfile of my SSD on which are about 25000 pictures (about 500GB), I have seen that there is on the SSD a folder named .dtrash. It has the incredible size of 913 GB with more than 100'000 files. This in my opinion is not even possible, because the entire SSD has only 1 TB. I then opened Digikam and there is a thrash folder visible but with completely different numbers. As soon I am clicking on this folder in Digikam the program crashes. I have to say that I am running Digikam on MacOs.

For an avice I would very mach appreciate
