I used for years other image managing programm software, because of problems I am now switching and searching for a new software for this purpose.
Digikam was suggested, but I have problems running the software.

As you can see on the picture, the softwware has problems recognising my external drive, depicting preview pictures, and showing the correct folder structure.

Also I could not sucessfully set the directory (It comprises about 70.000 photos), in the manual is written that additional steps are necessary.

Can somebody help me to get the software running=?
