Database migration

Wed Sep 01, 2021 7:52 am
My collection contains more than 160k photos, so I decided to migrate it to Mysql Internal Server.
The migration took about 8 hours and the results surprised me.
The digikam data files were 8.31gb, the migrated files are 244mb.
It appears that only part of the data was migrated and the original files are still being used, but the file in the destination folder is not.
Why did migration take 8 hours, on my Dell G3 (Core i7, 16gb RAM, 512gb SSD, Windows 11)?
Do I need to keep the file in the destination folder?
Thanks in advance,
Steve

A screenshot showing source and destination migration folders is here:- https://www.dropbox.com/s/9s31qbjer2j54 ... 1.png?dl=0
PS digikam configuration screen still shows SQLite as the database type???
