Search does not include filenames in Digikam

Hi everyone,

I am using Digikam to manage my large picture library.
When I try to search for pictures based on their filename (typically along the lines of "_MG_0976.JPG"), the search does not return anything. I have tried with filenames without digits and without underscores, and it does not work either.
The search will return results when folder names match my criteria (even if they contain digits or underscores).

So it all looks like my search options are to disregard filenames, but I can't find where to fix that!
Even more puzzling is the fact that an Advanced search specifiying to search a specific filename does not work either (when I KNOW the filename exists in the database)!

Any suggestions welcome!

Thanks
