digiKam does not see ZFS folders

Fri Nov 26, 2021 5:31 am
Hi,
I'm running Ubuntu 20.04, digiKam 7.3.0
After a recent harddrive failure, I migrated all my photos to a zfs file system.

The folders and all contents are visible and writable *except by digikam.
Digikam does not see the folders at all.

The folder does not appear in the browse list.
When I enter the location manually, I get
"The folder to use as the root album path does not exist:
/tank/data/Pictures
Would you like digiKam to create it for you?"

I don't see anything in the forums or on-line about this problem or possible solutions.
I don't know where to start.
Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave
