We are having troubles with digiKam one mac machine here. From this machine, the camera doesn't become visible inside digiKam. It is a camera that connects to the mac as usb disk. On another machine with the same macos (big Sur) and same digikam version 3.7.0, it works. One the working machine, the camera can be seen in the import menu under 'usb storage devices' as 'USB Disk "NO NAME" at /Volumes/NO NAME' and also as 'USB Disk "DSC"'. Only the former link works, when clicking the latter, DigiKam says 'Failed to connect to the camera'.
Now, on the problematic machine, the camera is only seen in the import menu under 'usb storage devices' as 'USB Disk "DSC"'. The other link is missing.
We've already checked the permissions in system settings. Talking about the "FileVault" settings for "Files and Folders" They appear to be the same on both machines.
Anybody here having a clue what could be going wrong?
