Hello,
seemingly easy question: How can I remove all meta data (EXIF, IPTC, ...) from an image? There is an article from 2011 https://userbase.kde.org/Digikam/Metadata but it seems out dated. I have found the edit metadata dialog (Entry -> Edit Meta Data) but there I was unable to find something that that removes all metadata. Thanks! |

I think the easiest way is to use batch purifier , it removes all metadata

Yeah, recommending a closed-source, windows only tool surely is the way to go...

Hello,
You can remove metadata from a photo using the Batch Queue Manager in digiKam, and then choosing the "Remove Metadata" from Base Tools. Then you get to select which parts of the image metadata you want to remove in the tool options. And of course you can choose where you want to save the resulting image from queue settings. It's my first post on KDE forums, hope it helps you! |
