Hi all! I am trying to edit Geolocation Information within digikam. After applying I can't find the GPS data in the file, not with Windows- Explorer, nor with ExifTool. Is there any setting I missed to get it stored in the Picture-File itself?

Under Settings > Configure Digikam > Metadata > Behaviour, do you have Geolocation (GPS) checked?

Personally I use GeoSetter for setting geolocation, which is a tool that is specially built for this purpose.

Yes, this option is checked.
Well - since now I used Geosetter as well, indeed. But I am right in front of leaving Windows and had difficulties in the past to get it run under wine

Don't know why, but it is working now. Never mind!
