Disabling notifications when tagging photos

Hello, I am working on tagging photos in digiKam and am wondering if there is a way to disable the popup notification for writing metadata to each photo. When I apply a tag and move to the next photo, the popup lingers for a couple seconds which isn’t too bad but gets disruptive when quickly moving through large volumes of photos!

I am using lazy synchronization so it is not a delay in applying tags to the database; just a notification about writing metadata. I’ve looked through the settings thoroughly but can’t seem to find an option to disable this, and I’ve used earlier versions of digiKam for photo tagging where this notification didn’t show up.

Thank you!
