Hi, in KDE3 (opensuse) i could plugin the camera to make it open the import dialog of digikam.
In kde4, i could not find such an infrastructure. When i plugin the camera, nothing happens, and i can't find a configuration option in systemsettings to configure this. Is there a way in kde4 to make hot plugged devices to open in certain applications? Kind regards, Rinse

The new ( written by me - so shameless self plug here ) Solid Actions KCM, might be able to help here and was recently added to KDE Trunk, and will be shipped as part of KDE 4.3 at this point in time. It can be found at /trunk/KDE/kdebase/workspace/solid/solid-actions-kcm/

Yep. Only needs KDELibs, Qt 4.4 and CMake
Should be installed to $(kde4-config --prefix)
