Hi
Upon installation it took 4 opening and closing of the program and 2 reboots before I finally saw images. This included 2 crashes and Windows trying to fix it. I mention this just in case it has something to do with my problem/question. When I R-click on an image a window pops up BUT it is invisible, that is to say, no writing is visible/seen. If I hover my mouse over this windows and slowly move down, on some places a newer window will pop up and within this new window the writing is visible. I'm assuming this is a bug or something but a search describing this problem, using various combinations produced no results. Thank you ver. 1.7.0 OS: Windows 7 |

HI
Thanks for your help. Attached is the screen shot. BTW I always need to open the program 2 times. The 1st time gives me an error message (see other attached photo) followed by Windows trying to fix it. And then I must click on the icon a 2nd time to make the program start. Hmm How does 1 insert am image? via the 'Img' button? It tells me to insert an url. A quick search showed how to do this so I'll try and see if it works: I hope it does the trick |

For the message you recieve when first starting Digikam, you definitely need to contact the KDE Windows team. They should be able to help you out there.
The empty context menus looks very odd - especially considering it seems to have something in it - just not shown there. I suspect something may be wrong with your KDE on Windows installation.

Thanks Admin
Please excuse my ignorance but how do I contact the KDE Windows team, as you suggested? And should I contact them for "something may be wrong with your KDE on Windows installation" as well? thank you Michael |

You can contact the team by emailing kde-windows@kde.org. I would include both issues in your email, as they should be able to help you sort out both.
