Information about digiKam

Tue Nov 11, 2014 8:47 am
Hello everybody.
I have started digiKam by uploading my grafics dedicated partition. so, I have two albums: /home/bilder and /grafik.
Now, I would like to add a few more directories, containig picture files in other partitions. Every time I try to open such an new album it is installed in /grafik, but I want it on the same level as /bilder and /grafik.

How do I do that? I am trying it our now for about an hour and find no way at all.

Second question: I get a message that I could not add Tags to the Tag list, the data base could not be bothered to work.

Can anybody help me? That would be great.

do you mean you have 2 collections and want to add additional? if so then you need to do that in settings -> configure Digikam -> collections

also are both bilder and graftik under /home ? or is graftic under / (root) ?

I don't do tags but it would help if you posted the exact error message and exactly how and where you tried adding tags. did you use tag manager or right panel tab? or the tags menu?
