Scenario:

• Intel i5 6500 @ 3.20HGz + 8GiB RAM
• An SATA3 Ext4 4TB WD SATA disk with over 379.000 photos
• An SSD Ext4 where Digikam and mysql internal database are located

To add root album from 4TB HD took hours, that's fine. Searches in Digikam using mysql are very fast, despite when I begin to type the text to search, if I write it slow, sometimes DigiKam seems to freeze ... I think this should be changed and not begin to find before user press "Intro".
Anyway, the problem is that each time I launch Digikam, it takes near 5 o more minutes to be ready. First, is "Reading database" and then "Loading tools", making a headache begin to work.

As you read, hardware is very optimized, even filesystem is without journal, so, please, how can I improve Digikam loading at launch?
