Export to Flikr Error.

Mon Jun 30, 2014 5:52 pm
Jump to** for latest update:

I cant upload pictures to Flikr from Digikam suddenly. It asked if I wanted a new token.

Message" Error Occurred: Unknown error. Cannot proceed any further." then "Getting the Frob"

And it stops. Google Searching did not find any answers. Although others had the same problem
I clear the Flikr permission on Flikr and tried again, but same error. This happened to me once before with Picasa. So I created a new Picasa account to get round the porblem.

Is there any way I can clear the Digikam settings?
Edit: I renamed "~/.kde/share/config/digikamrc" file but that only had an effect on the look of Digikam. Many settings were not affected and the problem persisted.

** Edit: Research is finally showing results: See Bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=336835
and Flickr API Going SSL-Only on June 27th, 2014: http://code.flickr.net/2014/04/30/flick ... 27th-2014/

I'm now waiting for a fix or a workaround.

Unfortunately no workaround will be available. Please ask the author of the patch posted on Bugzilla to post it on Reviewboard - patches posted to Bugzilla can get lost.
