I noticed this discussion: https://community.kde.org/Akademy/2015/ ... n_and_i18n
For some reason the notes do not include this proposal: https://translatewiki.net/wiki/Translating:KDE It could also be hosted on KDE servers: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Translate https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWik ... ion_Bundle Please take it into consideration, when deciding on the web tool to use! |

You should mail this to the Translators list kde-i18n-doc@kde.org |

I don't use mailing lists, because I don't want my email addresses bleeding all over the internet.

That's unfortunate for you and for your proposal, because kde-i18n-doc is the list of kde translators and the people managing scripty (the translation workflow). People on this list will decide about translation via wiki and which wiki will eventually be used. Btw https://community.kde.org/ is a wiki, you should be able to edit the page you mentioned |

I know, but I wanted to give visibility to the idea in any way I could.
The wiki page contains notes from Akademy, so it would be inappropriate for me to edit it. |

Posting here does not make it visible to the kde translation teams, I noticed yout post just by chance |

@beluga: For the record, userbase.kde.org and techbase.kde.org do use the mediawiki translate extension already, though only for the wiki content itself.
