This helped me synch KOrganizer with Google Calendar.

I'm on KDE Platform Version 4.8.5. and used the DAV groupware resource to synch synch KOrganizer to Google Calendar.

If you are on a later KDE Platform you do not need to use DAV anymore, because a Google Calendar resource is now shipped with KDE.
