I booked a hotel and got an ics-file from the booking-website with all details. I opened it in korganizer and got the import dialog. There was no error message, but the event didn't show up in the calendar.

I found out that the ics-file does not contain a UID-field. If I make up an UID manually and add it to the textfile the import works fine.
Is this an error in KOrganizer that it does not create a UID if it needs one (in case there is none) or is the ics-file just not conformant and booking.com is to blame?
