Hi Everyone,
I've been using Ubuntu based Linux Distros since 8.04., Kubuntu since 12.04, and now Mint 17 KDE. Started using KOrganizer last year and still haven't figured out how to save the event category colors. The system runs on a Desktop PC, so it doesn't get restarted all the time like a notebook. But when I do restart and open KOrganizer again, all my category colors are back to default and I have to set them again. Same even happens when I simply close KOrganizer. This is, to put it mildly, annoying. I hope someone can help me here. Besides that I love KDE |

Could you please list all the steps you take to change the colors so that we can try to reproduce it?

In Korganizer
I go into Settings -> Configure KOrganizer -> Colours and Fonts -> Colours Tab, then I choose a category from the categories drop down window, after that I choose a colour from the colour chart then apply. I do that for every category. BTW I just installed OpenSuSE 32bit KDE on my old netbook a couple of days ago. KOrganizer works like a charm. I did everything as above, and it just works. |

Could you please post the two KDE versions you are running? ( OpenSuse and the other distro)
You can check in any KDE application with: -> Help -> About KDE |
