I'm using two Kubuntu Linux laptops and an Android Moto G phone and want to keep my schedule on all of them. I finally gave in to using Google Calendar after finding that syncing with just a cable was a hassle. Previously I was using just KOrganizer on one laptop.

After setting up an empty Google calendar, I did somehow get all my appointments from KOrganizer into GC and onto my Android. Cool deal so far. I probably used an exported ICS file. However, now I want to be able to just run the sync command in GC and have everything on all calendars. I figured there would certainly be a page on how to do this, and there is. It's here: https://userbase.kde.org/Working_with_Google_Calendar. However, it says that info is obsolete. It says:

In KOrganizer simply go to Settings->General->Calendars and filter for google

I don't find "Settings ==>> General ==> Calendars". I do find "Settings ==> Manage/View Filters". Is that what I want? Do I put in my gmail account and password somewhere there? For example (fictitious info):

If I click on New it says "New Filter 1". I'm not sure what to do with that.

On the other hand, should I instead use: Settings ==> Configure KOrganizer?

Help, I'm confused.

Is the problem that I have not turned on or installed KWallet? Do I turn that on and somehow configure it to my e-mail and password?

I'm using KDE Plasma 5.4.1, KF 5.14, Qt 5.5.0, KDE Applications 15.04, PIM applications like Korganizer and it's dependencies from 15.08 so it's the qt5 -version. There seems to be no "google calendar" -option anymore in Korganizer's Settings > Configure > Calendars > Add. Is it not implemented yet or am I missing something? Is it possible no sync with Google Calendar somehow yet? There are options for DAV, iCal, Kalarm, Kolab and Open-Xchange.
