Can't sync caldav calendar...

daniloa Registered Member Posts 3 Karma 0 OS	Can't sync caldav calendar... Wed May 06, 2015 12:17 pm Hi there, i'm new with linux world and with opensuse's kde environment. I've enabled webdav support in my synology nas. I've created 3 calendars in a specific path and now i want to manage them using a client. Now i've tested with Thunderbird's Ligthning plugin and works well. A cause of my work i need to use kontact to get syncs. But after the configuration in kontact (or korganizer), it seems that no sync happened and there are no entries in my calendar. How is it possible? What's the issue? Many thanks for every help.

To create a new calendar from Korganizer/Kontact right-click in the calendars list (left pane, under the month view and the events details box by default) and choose "Add Calendar…". In the new window select "DAV groupware resource" and follow the initial wizard. DAViCal is part of the servers supported out of the box and selectable here. If you want to go the manual route then the URL http://calendar.example.com/caldav.php/ should be enough to get access to all of your calendars. if yes then systemsettings -> personal information -> akonadi resources configuration -> select then modify the caldav entry and make sure everything looks correct including passwords OpenSuse Leap 42.1 x64, Plasma 5.x

Tue May 12, 2015 9:20 am ok i've already followed this instructions but nothing happened (these are the same steps, that you can do from the korganizer's sub menu). I've found that there's an old and unfixed bug since 2013! Is that true? https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325224

Tue May 12, 2015 12:12 pm Now I know why I use Thunderbird Seriously, after having used Kontact for a number of years I seriously missed some aspects of it when I moved to other software solutions but I never again had such serious problems as I did back then. Shame really... Debian testing
