Hi,
Last week I upgraded the OS to OpenSuse 15.2 and I got within KOrganizer Calendar 5.10.3. I was supreised, how many problems in the older version are solved now. First of all the switch time, when you change from Kaddresse or KMail to Korganizer! Congratulation! But I also discovered today, it it no more possible to search for an event! No search item in menus, nor you get anything by tipping Ctrl+F posting.php?mode=post&f=261# Does anybody know a "secret command"? Should I install a special KD application for? Thanks in advance for helping |

I can see the search item in edit menu and Ctrl+F works as well (I use "KOrganizer version 5.13.1 (19.12.1)" ).
Neon: 5.25, Plasma: 5.26.0, Frameworks: 5.98.0, Qt: 5.15.6, Kernel: 5.15.0-50-generic (64bit), CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G, GPU: AMD RENOIR, GUI-Platform: X11

Hi raphaelra,
thank you for replay! you wrote:
Yes, Ctrl+F is the first automatic thing, I usually do, when I want to search something in KOrganizer. But it did not run. Good news: since yesterday evening it is there again, the search tool! I don't know why ... meanwhile I installed some "packets", which are only marginal related with KOrganizer search tool. |

Could it be, that the search function is so smart and and only appears when you have created a calendar or appointments ?

I don't know, but maybe you are right with your supposition. In fact, between update and the opening of this theme I've been worked with KOrganize ( 4 calendar), but I had not added any appointment or event yet. |

I would say:
I did not had any new appointment or event |
