I think, that moving the forum was a bad idea. However, if they transfered the login data(so, that people, who are registered on old forum can post here without reregistering) and all posts, then it would have been OK.

Reading the announcement on planet.kde.org suggests that people are working on moving over all the posts, so maybe have some patience :)
