The venerable Linux Weekly News has an article on capturing and editing video on a Linux system, or as they put it, "hazards of video processing on Linux." I am not sure if they're even aware of KDEnlive, but with the 0.5 version being so out-of-date compared to the current state, I don't even think it would be a fair review of how KDEnlive performed.
