I want to time cuts to a rhythm of a song.

Realtime highlighter.... so while you are playing a clip you can push a button or hotkey and it will drop a single frame highlight/quick guide. And if you hold the button down you can highlight a section of time. You could even have a colour swatch for different colour highlights.and a clear button for clearing all colours or just one colour.

Load song play and press button accordingly. Then time cuts to those highlights.... awesomeness.

It would be good even just to quickly visualize where things are happening. You could highlight everytime the camera shakes or something happens that needs to be removed.

Then you can quickly razor the clip and ditch the highlights. Instead of play ... stop .. scrub... razor... play
