There are video files that can come with more than one audio track. For example, an .AVI film with audio track1 in french and audio track2 in spanish. On audio extracting (to a WAV file) or rendering, Kdenlive only assumes the first audio track and, as I know, there aren't any way to select which track to use. The ability to select audio track (and maybe various video tracks too?) could help in some works.

video clips with multiple audio tracks are still unsupported as of Kdenlive 0.9.10 , and more far to render output video with multitrack audio.

Hello,
I had the same question, but no (yet) time to experiment. may be: * don't forget video and audio do not need to be rendered in only one file, you can have video only, then audio only (as many as you want) * may be try a mkv container that is said to be able to have more than two tracks I would like to know if it works. jdd |
