Many editing in the same project

Mon Oct 26, 2009 10:51 am
One project/editing is good for sim

ple work but if you want to edit a feature movie, a documentary or even a complex short you will need different sequence.

1) To keep different version and get the possibility to mix them ("ok in the new version is more dynamic but the love sequence was better in the first one").
2) To edit sequence separately and to assemble them after. ("ok, let's see if I put the *** sequence before the first kiss")

Not sure how much this helps, but Kdenlive can load a project as a clip.

Didn't earlier 0.7 versions have multiple timelines? To be able to work with nested timelines is a great help in arranging and structuring your work.
I would very much like to see them come back into Kdenlive. Not sure why they dissapeared the first time.
