Hello :)
This is my first post here :) Been using Kdenlive for a couple of months now and its a very nice NLE for Linux. Here are some of the advanced features and some programs you can study them in practice: - 2d point tracking (cinelerra) - 3d tracking (libmv - a very promising library for 3d tracking) - color correction GUI and additional features ( cineFX(jahshaka v3) - dead, no development since 2009, but screenshots show best gui i have ever seen http://trac.jahshaka.org/attachment/wiki/OldJahshakaUiPhotos/jakacolorcorrector2rings9gc.jpg) - node compositing (open movie editor - it uses frei0r plugins as nodes) Well that is all from me :) i hope that some of those features get into the Kdenlive someday :) |

Also worth looking at Blenders node-based compositor, it's very powerful and user friendly. |
