When uploading this (maybe) corrupted mpeg kdenlive crashes. This file was created converting something like one frame of a dv with mpegenc or whatsoever.

I'm running on a Gentoo amd64 machine

2.6.19-gentoo-r5

gcc (GCC) 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1-r3)

Try to pass suspected bad video through Avidemux. Use audio/video copy/copy method (=no reencoding) to the same format (MPEG2 PS) and save it and load the "avidemuxed" again to kdenlive project. Tell us the results :)

I may have experienced something similar and this was the work around.
