I am using kdenlive 0.7.6, kde 4.2.2, ubuntu 9.04 32-bit.

I am getting a crash whenever I try to add a title clip to a project. The crash happens after I click the OK button in the Title Clip pop-up window. This has been happening ever since I installed kdenlive, have never been able to add a title clip without a crash so far.

Any ideas? It's hard to believe this functionality would be broken, so I assume I must be doing something wrong.

I no longer have this problem after uninstalling and reinstalling a bunch of stuff.

i am getting this problem too, whenever i add a title clip, right when i press "Ok" kdenlive crashes

I don't know exactly what I did to fix my problem, but here are some suggestions.

1- Make sure you only have one version of mlt installed. Before trying kdenlive I had tried a different app that also uses mlt and because of that I think I had at least two different versions of mlt installed simultaneously for a while. See here for how to remove mlt:

2- Make sure QImage isn't missing. If I remember correctly the config wizard was reporting it missing at the time kdenlive title creation was crashing on me, and of course it is present now that the crashing no longer happens.
