bug with FFV1 render

Sun Aug 12, 2012 5:26 pm
Hi, can anyone else confirm that this bug http://www.kdenlive.org/forum/free-codecs-and-containers#comment-18572 with ffv1/flac render is present with them too?

Apparently my os accepts patches, given that there is already a commit for the exact same buggy issue here http://osdir.com/ml/kde-commits/2012-06/msg01622.html which gives me the ogg container I was looking for anyway, what is my best course of action?

Can anyone make me a patch for this? Does anyone know if the commit will deal with the current issue which was apparently not there when it was made?

I really dont know how to approach this issue so any advise would be helpful, My os said "Tell them your distro accept patches, and can build test packages for users (ie, I can do it for you). If they have a patch-fix, I'll gladly add it to the kxstudio's kdenlive package."

best

HI, i really need help with this - I dont understand what is wrong. Does anyone have a moment to assist me?

Here is the profile that i have been trying to use "f=avi acodec=flac ar=48000 ab=1024k ac=2 vcodec=ffv1 qscale=1 aspect=%dar" - it is the only option given for lossless patent free rendering. How can I fix it? Do I need a patch fix or is there something wrong with the profile (its just the automatic one, no idea how to write my own). idealy i want this to render as a lossless file into an .ogg container
