sync slip - how do I stop this from happening?

One of the most common problems I encounter is finding that a single track has slipped a few frames or seconds out of sync with the others. I think this happens when I use the spacer tool (shortcut = T) to move all the clips in the timeline on the right the of cursor.
Is there something I'm doing wrong in my use of the spacer tool? does it sometimes select one track but not the others?
how is it even possible for grouped clips to be pulled out of sync?

With a 35-minute timeline of very short clips this is a nightmare to tidy up - my plan is to ungroup all clips, lock certain tracks, use the spacer tool to rearrange things, and then go back and re-lock the clips individually. Any better tips for quickly fixing it?

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

64-bit Ubuntu Studio, kdenlive 0.9.6

Probably not very helpful - but I also have a project with hundreds of small clips grouped with an audio clip, where I have cut the audio clip and moved the group around, ungrouped again and so on, and I *think* I haven't noticed such issues BUT: I never used the spacer tool, so maybe the issue you encounter is related to it.

Another thing - maybe you can reproduce this with a simple project and describe the steps necessary to reproduce? Then I'd recommend to create a bug in the bug tracker, as developers won't look at bugs reported here in the forum.

I've never been able to reproduce it on purpose! I'm not sure what causes it. Hence checking first to see if others encounter the problem (or if it's just me) before filing a bug report.

Did anyone find a solution to this?
