Problem with some "longer" videos

Sat Apr 04, 2009 4:36 pm

Hi,

I'm using the last version from SVN and I have some problems with "longer" videos. Actually these videos are about 5 minutes long.

The problem is that after about 1-2 minutes (it's different) the video is getting white or black (during rendering, playing of clip and of the film), but the audio is going on.

The same video works with VLC without any problems.

I've tried to open only one clip, but the problem remains.

The video format ist M2T and is "grabbed" by kdenlive directly from my camcorder in HD format.

Have anyone the same problem?

I have checked it again more detailed.

On my DV band I have two clips, one is about 6 minutes long and the other one about 30 seconds. In reality the 6 min. long are 5 subclips (don't ask me why it's displayed on my camcorder as one clip).

So, when I record the clips in Kdenlive they are splitted correctly into 6 clips. All clips, besides one, have also correct lenght. Only one clip has wrong length of about 5 minuts (in reality it's exactly 1 minute and 30 seconds). At the same time it is the last "subclip" in the first clip.

When I open this clip with VLC the length is ok, under Kdenlive it's wrong.

When I put this subclip into one of the tracs, the lenght is of course wrong. But I can change the length to 1m30s and it's ok...

Any ideas??
