After last update I have "New Project" dialog on start kdenlive as on screen in attach.

If press "Ok" button kdenlive is crashed.

What MLT version are you using?

You need the latest release of MLT 0.2.4: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... p_id=96039

This should install the requested profiles.

If you click on the "Video Format" listbox, can you see a list of profiles, or is it completely empty ?

If it is empty, can you start Kdenlive from a terminal (Konsole for example).

At some point when starting, Kdenlive should say something like:

++ Found your MLT install in /path to you mlt install

Can you see it ? Which path does it give to you ?

Profiles exist both in filesystem and listbox.

Ok, I see. This problem only happens if you upgraded from previous Kdenlive version. You need to select an existing profile in Kdenlive settings, default project. Then the empty entry will disappear. Or you can also delete your

$HOME/.kde/share/config/kdenliverc file, but that would reset all your Kdenlive custom settings...

I will anyways try to fix it so hat this cannot happen anymore.
