Strange behavior while moving around in .dv files

When I import .dv files created by kino, something strange happens around each 10 minutes into the .dv file.

If I use the mouse to move around, the image hops back to the first frame, and it keeps the first frame until I get to around 20 minutes, then it works well till around 30 minutes, where it goes back to the first frame again, and so on.

It's difficult to explain exactly what happens, since it is a bit different when using the mouse scroll wheel. Then it works well while scrolling forward, but scrolling backwards (in the areas between 10 and 20 min), the image hops back to the first frame, and scrolling forwards then just moves on from there.

Normal playback works as it should, unless it has already jumped to the first frame. Then playback starts from there, even if it should have started at another point.

The 10 minutes intervals applies to the actual .dv file, it doesn't matter if I divide it on the time line, and it is the same on the time line and the clip monitor.

I know the explanation is a bit unclear, but the behavior is really weird.

So, after reading a bit more here in the forum, I saw that ffmpeg is responsible for most problems with kdenlive. I saw that Arch Linux, which I use, have a rather old version from way back in May, so I made a package from the latest version, and the .dv problem was solved.

So now I can really start to test kdenlive, which seems to be on it's way to become an excellent video editor.
