Crash when adding a video effect

Wed Jul 25, 2007 12:58 pm

Hello everybody,

I'd like to report (maybe) a bug in kdenlive : when i try to add a video effect (like a crossfade between two clips), kdenlive segfault.

Running kdenlive in gdb, i obtain this message when segfaulting : kdenlive: +++++++++++ Generating scenelist start... ++++++++++++++++++

kdenlive: WARNING: selectedEffectIndex = -1

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

[Switching to Thread -159835952 (LWP 7202)]

0xf73434a3 in QGListIterator::QGListIterator () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3

The backtrace is as following :

Maybe i'm doing something wrong, but last time i've used it, it has worked perfectly.

Info :

kdenlive version 0.4-0.2 (debian package from Christian Marillat )

Debian testing up to date

Let me know if any other info are needed

thanks

ok, now, it works if i separate the two clips on two tracks.

Nevertheless, the last time i used kdenlive, i managed to add crossfade transition between two clips on the same track. Don't know how, but it has worked sometime.
