What is about "Keep original timecode when creating dv file (needs MLT patching)" described on http://kdenlive.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?title=Wanted_Features#DV.2FMPEG_Timecode?

This is one big reason which avoid me from using Kdenlive?

I agree. That is indeed a real turnoff. I hope that this will be treated as a high priority feature. Can't use Kdenlive without it for my purposes.

Is there any way to see what the planning for further development is? Any way to vote for what features to give priority?

Is there already some progress in this respect?

At this moment I simply don't use kdenlive and solely because of this. I really want to be able to keep the original timecode information. That allows to find back what year / month / day a shot was taken.

No, and I do not have any plans to do it.
