[Bug] Text layer on top of a video

Fri Oct 10, 2008 9:17 am

Hi!

I'm running kdenlive 0.7 beta on an archlinux machine (64bit installation).

I was creating a video and had the intention to put a little text on the bottom right with copyright information.

When rendering the video (no matter what codec or resolution) this text (and graphics as well) which runs parallel with the video will be cut in pieces and spread horizontally over the video.

Texts that run before or after the video are displayed correctly, only the text that has to be on top of the video doesn't work.

Am I doing something wrong, or can anybody confirm this error?

Thanks!

Yes, I can confirm. This issue only seems to happen if you export to a video size different from your original video. This is an MLT issue, I reported it on the MLT-devel mailing list.
