kdenlive crash

Sun Jan 11, 2009 9:57 pm

I have install kdenlive on my slackware 12.0.When i try to start. It crashes whit an error message:

(no debuggin symbol found)

Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1".

(no debuggin symbol found)

thread debugging using lib/libthread_db enable

0xb2456767 in mlt_properties_set_int () from /usr/lib/libmlt.so.0.2.4

I saw on internet the same error but after installation libxcb, mlt and delete file kdenliverc. The solution doesn't work.

Is there a solution???

Thanks very much for some idea!

This is probably Kdenlive 0.5 or 0.6, which are completely deprecated. Do not even try to use these versions. You can either install Kdenlive 0.7.1 from Sources following our guidelines or contact Slackware maintainer to ask for an upgrade of Kdenlive / MLT/ FFmpeg.
