I can't import avi files into kdenlive, i took the videos using xfire under windows and transfered them over to ubuntu.  When i try to import i get an error messaging saying that it isn't a support format, but i read that it was.  Any ideas?

aight, i found the problem, xfire uses a special codec inside of avi files, i'm transcoding them now...
