Hi there,

I'm just starting with kdenlive in my kubuntu jaunty. I first installed default packages that comes with the distribution (kdenlive 0.7.3), but as I was having problems I did try before reporting installing the recommended ones from this page (Adding "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/sunab/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main" to my sources file and so...), but after installing the recommended 0.7.5 packages the problem persist.

In a few words, the problem is that audio stops working while using kdenlive on clip and/or project windows. More clear, it works just the first time I reproduce a clip, but if I pause the clip and then restart it again, audio no sound anymore.

If I restarted kdenlive and reload the clip, it again works first time, but no more.

For the file than I'm using, ffmpeg -i says:

Input #0, avi, from 'test.avi':
Duration: 00:00:57.88, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 6073 kb/s
Stream #0.0: Video: mpeg2video, yuv420p, 720x576 [PAR 16:15 DAR 4:3], 5017 kb/s, 25 tbr, 25 tbn, 50 tbc
Stream #0.1: Audio: ac3, 48000 Hz, stereo, s16, 384 kb/s

If you need more info, just ask. :-)

Thanks a lot in advance,

If someone has problems with this, I've solved it just changing the format of the clip using mencoder.

Hello,

I had the same problem with a FLAC audio input.
What format did work?

Thanks.
B.
