Sat Sep 26, 2009 6:31 pm
My preview feed for my movie is very choppy, I rendered the Video and it came out fine (minus the things i'm try to change) The video i'm editing is done in X264 and a MP3 audio clip,

choppy means it can not play every frame. However, you included a screenshot. Why? How can a single screenshot demonstrate choppy playback? I think the video in the screenshot shows there are a lot of artifacts and distortion, but I do not know for sure. Is this the problem? Or is it both choppy and heavily distorted? Well, regardless, we already know editing H.264 is not always reliable and all you can do is wait while FFmpeg and MLT improve.
