When i edit the Title Clip after i have dropped it onto the timeline, the changes i have made does not show up in project monitor

Are you placing it on a track above a clip or image?
If not and you are using black text, then you have black on black.
If you did place it above a clip, then you need to make sure Kdenlive added the Composite transition between the title and the clip.
